Just as Robert Govett was guided by the Holy Spirit to read the Scriptures literally as they were
written and become enlightened as to the doctrine of the Firstfruits Rapture, Brother chip has himself
been guided over a thirty-year study of the rapture to see and understand the conditional nature of the
Rapture and the requirements mentioned in the Scripture for any Christian to be able to be accounted
"worthy" to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke
21:36).  Very informative, heart-felt, and well worth reading.  
   Brother Chip accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour when he was seven, in 1966, at North Beach
Baptist church, Corpus Christi, Texas.  His family, two years later, moved to northeast Texas, where
he grew up in two separate churches and was instructed in a good foundation in the Word by several
godly men.
   Once an adult, he added to this foundation his own personal studies, not influenced by any person or
doctrine.  Bro. Chip's current understanding of God - His existence, His being, His plan, etc., are
shaped exclusively by God's Word and presence alone (just as Robert Govett was lead into this
doctrine in the 1800's).
   Understanding the teachings dealing with Christ's return became an obsession for him as a teenager,
and continued into his adult life and ministry.  "The return of Jesus Christ is the singular most incredible
event that will be experienced first hand by the church and has been the passion of my Bible study
since the age of fifteen."
   Some godly wisdom he has been guided by comes from his father.  "No, you can't build an entire
belief or doctrine from any individual verse of God's Word.  But you can believe that one verse.  
Then let  The Word teach you how that one verse agrees with the rest of the Scriptures."
